Cake Poker Summary
Cake Poker is a member of the Revolution Gaming Network. On September 27, 2012, Cake Poker stopped accepting new U.S. players. Existing U.S. players at Cake Poker were moved to Juicy Stakes Poker. Juicy Stakes Poker is now the U.S. facing partner of Cake Poker. This move did not affect players in any other country. Note that Russian players can play on Cake Poker but cannot receive rakeback on the site.
When signing up for Cake Poker through HotShot Poker you will receive 36% rakeback. Players will also be eligible for a special 200% up to $2000 sign-up bonus and access to special promotions such as the Loyalty Levels VIP Program, Gold Chips and other promotions.
No Limit Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit tables of $1/$2 and above and fixed limit games have segregated player pools. Lock Poker, the flagship of Revolution Gaming, and the other skins do not share these games. A new system is being created that would once again merge player pools at these games. This new system will create a ranking system that would prevent large winning players from sitting at tables populated by losing players.

Cake Poker Rakeback
Cake Poker is one of the few sites to offer rakeback using the dealt method, which is preferred by many players because they receive credit for generating rake even when you do not play the hand. Cake Poker rakeback is automatically paid every Thursday to your Cake Poker account for the previous Wednesday through Tuesday. A major positive of rakeback at Cake Poker is that there are no deductions to your MGR. Players can monitor rakeback stats from the Cake Poker client under "My Account/VIP Status".
Cake Poker Sign-Up Bonus
Depositing for the first time on Cake Poker will yield players a limited time 200% up to $2,000 sign-up bonus. A maximum deposit of $1000 is required to receive the entire bonus. After depositing, the bonus will be credited in your pending bonus section and must be cleared within 90 days. The bonus will release in increments of $5. Clearing the bonus will require players earn 16.67 FPPs per $1 of bonus money. FPPs are earned at the following rate: 0.50 FPP for every $1 in dealt rake taken from your table or 3.5 per $1 of buy-in fees at tournaments and sit N gos. A player clearing a bonus with rakeback will receive a total of 54%-63% in rakeback.
Cake Poker Promotions
In addition to rakeback and a sign-up bonus, Cake Poker players who register through HotShot Poker will also be able to have access to a Loyalty Levels VIP Program and be able to accumulate Gold Cards and Gold Chips. The Loyalty Levels rewards program awards players Gold Chips, cash prizes and bonuses when a player earns a certain number of FPPs within a designated time frame. The VIP Rewards program can add an additional 4% in extra rakeback at top levels.
